Dr. Lindsay Essenmacher
Dr. Lindsay Essenmacher earned her dental degree from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco, CA, where she graduated with honors. She then completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency with the University of New Mexico. After serving in public health in rural New Mexico for two years, she moved back home to Albuquerque in 2015 to start Essenmacher Family Dental, with the vision of providing cutting-edge, comprehensive dentistry with compassion and gentleness.
Dr. Essenmacher is deeply passionate about dentistry, and enjoys taking as much continuing education as her busy schedule will allow! Her team members love to give her a hard time for taking her dental books on vacation with her. She is particularly interested in how total body health impacts oral health, and vice versa. Her studies in these areas have led her to include airway health, TMJ and facial pain, and oral myofunctional therapy into her everyday practice. She also enjoys sedation dentistry, adult orthodontics, implant dentistry, facial esthetics, and full mouth rehabilitation. Her absolute favorite part of dentistry is seeing how an enhanced smile or the elimination of chronic pain can transform a person’s life for the better!
Dr. Essenmacher and her better half, Jesse, have been happily married since 2005. They have two children, Evan and Adalyn, and a goldendoodle named Willow. When she’s not studying the latest dental procedures and techniques, you can find her exercising, going to church, and spending time with her family!
